There are just three days left to take part in two major consultations on Liberal Democrat policy - one for the working group on liberty and security, and the other for the group looking at working-age social security.
Lib Dem social security consultation
This is a consultation from the party's policy working group on working-age social security.
We want your feedback on social security for working-age adults and children. What should the aims and priorities of the welfare system be? What changes should be made to the system? Could support be better targeted? How could the delivery of benefits be improved?
We welcome comments anybody, including party members, interested organisations, and members of the public.
The consultation survey is here.
Lib Dem liberty and security consultation
This is a consultation from the party's policy working group on liberty and security.
We want your feedback on the topic of Liberty and Security. What threats does the UK face and what are the best ways for the police and security services to combat them? What powers should the state have to monitor and keep hold of things like phone and internet records? And how successful do you think the Prevent strategy - which is designed to fight extremism and terrorism in communities - is?
We welcome comments anybody, including party members, interested organisations, and members of the public.
