• Reforms to make prison work
• Judge led enquiry into allegations around complicity in torture
Membership Statistics
• Over 4,000 new members (6 in High Peak) since the coalition was announced (and fewer than 700 leaving none in High Peak)
• Recent poll by Lib Dem Voice showed 84% of members backing the coalition
• And also showed every measure in the budget had a net approval rating amongst our membership
Real Elections:
• Leapfrogged Labour in the delayed election in Thirsk and Malton to come second and increased our share of the vote
• Seen swings to us in by elections across the country against both other parties. Including gains against Labour in Camden and against the Conservatives in Cornwall, Oxfordshire, Somerset and Epping Forest
