Peter Harper, Head of Research at the Centre for Alternative Technology, introduces the Centre's new report "Zero Carbon Britain 2030 which shows how this might be done and opens the discussion on turning this vision into reality.
The report describes the first fully integrated solution to climate change and finite fossil fuel energy supplies. It shows how by reducing our demand for energy, greatly increasing renewable energy sources and looking at carbon sequestration we can reduce our carbon emissions to zero.
