Consultation on the Future of the Peak District National Park
For the past year the Peak District National Park Authority have been working with partner organisations and other stakeholders on a new management plan which will describe their joint aspirations for the future of the Peak District National Park and lay out plans for how they intend to achieve those aspirations. A new management plan for 2012 to 2017 will be agreed this autumn.
The thoughts of all of those consulted to have been brought together in a consultation document, Join the Conversation, which can be found on PDNPA website
PDNPA would really like to know your views on thier initial ideas for the future of the national park, and ask you to take part in an online questionnaire which sits alongside the consultation document on the website. A number of group discussions and one to one meetings are also being arranged over the next three months to gain commitments of joint delivery. If you feel a face to face meeting would help you make a stronger response, please contact the Customer Service Team on 01629 816200.
The consultation period runs from Friday 15 April to Friday 1 July. Please encourage your colleagues, friends and anyone else with an interest in the future of the Peak District National Park, to take part in the consultation and join the conversation.
