Winning in BarwellLast Thursday saw a fantastic Lib Dem gain from Labour in Gedling.

This Thursday we have got another fantastic result. Securing a 10% swing from Labour to the Liberal Democrats in the parish by election in Barwell.
In May Lib Dems gained Barwell parish in a landslide victory over Labour and the Independents. Last night we managed to double our % majority compared to the result in May.
Congratulations to our new parish Councillor John Cullinane and everyone who helped with the Barwell Parish Council campaign. Delivering almost half the village after conference on Wednesday night was truly amazing!
A great end to the Lib Dem conference and a terrible start for Labour's conference. Let's hope East Midlands Lib Dems continue this winning streak.
John Cullinane (LD) 302 (57.5%)
Russell Roberts (Ind) 130
Gwenfron Granger (Lab) 093

Turnout: 525 (14.35%)
