High Peak Liberal DemocratsAs many of you will know, the last Spring Conference in Sheffield voted overwhelmingly to create a Leadership Programme for potential candidates from under-represented groups*, in order to improve the diversity of our parliamentarians in the future. Applications for the Programme are now open.
The Programme is designed specifically to identify, develop and support some of the best candidates within the Party. It is open to talented, motivated individuals from groups that are currently under-represented in our Parliamentary Party, who can demonstrate the combination of passion, drive and commitment that it takes to win a Parliamentary seat in the next General Election. There are reserved places for women, disabled people, and those from BAME backgrounds, and applications from other under-represented groups are very welcome.
If you are eligible and interested in applying for the Leadership Programme, please have a look at the application pack which can be downloaded here.
Applications will close on 30th September so please don't delay applying!
It is anticipated that further applications will be invited in the future, and this will be widely advertised.
