"I am incredibly pleased to hear about the victory for Liberal Democrats in the Towcester by-election yesterday, 9th February. Congratulations to both Lisa Samiotis and Chris lofts who won so convincingly their seats on the Northamptonshire County Council and South Northants Council (Towcester Brook Ward).
It is excellent to know the Liberal Democrats have so much support and won by such a huge margin, taking votes that previously went to Conservatives.
I would like to send my thanks to all of the campaigners who spent their time handing out leaflets, knocking on doors and getting the Lib Dem message out to all of the voters. We couldn't have done it without you and it is certainly nice to know there are so many dedicated Liberal Democrats out there.
I also wish Lisa well in her first elected role!"
