Today I've been made aware of the Kony 2012 video regarding the Ugandan War Lord Joseph Kony and a World Wide initiative to bring him to justice.

Having now watched the video myself I feel obliged to act upon it.

Knowing our party's stance on Human Rights issues I would begin by respectfully asking that each of you might find half an hours time to take a look at it yourselves and consider if it wasn't something that we could all act upon, individually or even collectively.

This is about Kony 2012. Approach this undoubtedly important issue with care. An article in the Guardian yesterday draws attention to the dubious finances of the "Invisible Children" based in San Diego.
