Dear Mr Duveen

Thank you for your comments and concern regarding Worksop Railway station. Northern Rail is of course digesting all elements of the McNulty Report. Sir Roy McNulty's independent Rail Value for Money Study was jointly sponsored by the Department for Transport and the Office of Rail Regulation. The study recommends ways in which the whole rail industry can work towards delivering a safe and efficient railway which represents value-for-money for customers and taxpayers

At present there are no plans to make any changes or closures to any stations.

Yours sincerely

This is great news for all the passengers who use the station. As I promised in my Election Address, I will continue to campaign against any threat to reduce the service at out Train Station, indeed I will try to get improvements to the both the trains & to the station.
