High Peak Liberal DemocratsOne of these homes was Linelands in the centre of Nettleham which shut a few weeks ago.
This was a modern purpose built care home offering short stay/respite and day care in single rooms for up to 27 people.
Linelands was very much a part of the life of Nettleham until, despite all the protests and arguments to the contrary, it was closed and boarded up by Lincolnshire County Council earlier this year, despite the best efforts of Ray Sellars.
Guy Grainger says "Residents are now left wondering what will happen to it now? Liberal Democrats will fight to ensure that whatever happens to it, it will not impact on the surrounding homes".
