High Peak Liberal Democrats

East Midlands Policy Officer Cllr Phil Knowles was Guest Speaker at a General Meeting of Mid Derbyshire Liberal Democrats where he led a discussion on a wide range of issues.

Speaking after the visit Phil said he was delighted to have had the opportunity to talk with members on a number of policy issues, to hear their views, to encourage input from the wider membership and to have had the chance to thank the members on behalf of the Regional Executive for their support and hard work.

'' Its a privilege to be able to meet with fellow Liberal Democrats and to have the chance to say a big thank you to Richard Salmon, Roger Shelley and all the Team in Mid Derbyshire for the tremendous job they do. I hope that my visit will encourage them to get even more involved in the policy process of our party and to take our policies with renewed vigour onto the doorsteps. I look forward to helping Mid Derbyshire in any way I can and to visiting many more of our Branches and Constituencies in the near future.''
