High Peak Liberal DemocratsLocal MP Mark Hunter is calling on local residents to make the most out of the "Get me Toasty" free loft and cavity wall insulation scheme which is available across the area.
The scheme has been rolled out across Greater Manchester this year and applications will be considered up until 30th November. Residents can go to www.getmetoasty.com or call the freephone number 0800 009 3363 for more information on how they can benefit. Unlike other insulation programs, to qualify you are not required to be in receipt of benefits.
Commenting, Mark said:
"Loft and cavity wall insulation is good for the environment, good for your energy bills and good for your health.
"That's why I'm urging local residents to pick up the phone or go online to see if they can benefit from this free scheme."
