I would like to thank everyone who has been to help in the Corby By-election so far. It really is appreciated.

Jill Hope's campaign to be the next MP for Corby & East Northants is gaining momentum. Jill is clearly the best candidate in this election. We have had several hustings events over the past few weeks and Jill has come out head and shoulders above the rest.

My team in the constituency have been working through the night to ensure that our election communication gets to Royal Mail on time. We have just taken delivery of nearly 30,000 newspapers to get out during the last few days. It would be a huge boost if we get a good turnout of people to come and help get our message out. If we can, I'm confident we can get a good result in what has traditionally been a tough seat for us.

I know that many places are contesting Crime Commissioner elections, and whilst I wouldn't want to drag you away from those, the eyes of the media are on this by-election. Please consider coming to Corby, even if it is just for a few hours.
