High Peak Liberal DemocratsAs the latest SEMMMS/A555 Relief Road official consultation leaflet begins to drop through thousands of residents' letterboxes, Cheadle MP Mark Hunter is urging local residents to complete and return the attached questionnaire to make sure their views are heard.
Mr Hunter is also encouraging local residents to attend the local exhibitions to learn more about the plans. In the Cheadle Parliamentary Constituency, there are exhibitions at the following venues:

Commenting, Mark said:
"The campaign for this vital link road has been running for years and in countless surveys, local residents have shown strong support for the project.
"Even though the vast majority are in favour of the road's completion, however, it is true to say that a small but vociferous minority are still opposed to the idea.
"That is why I am encouraging everybody to make sure they have their say on the plans, so we can get this road built as soon as possible which will relieve traffic across the area, and add up to 5,000 jobs and £2.5 billion to the local economy.
"Residents have until 25th January 2013 to return the survey and I hope as many as possible respond."
