East Midlands Regional Policy Officer Phil Knowles has called on members to back the call by Lord Ashdown and make Saturday 9th of February a day to remember.
Be it on the streets and doorsteps, face to face or by telephone this is a great opportunity to take the Liberal Democrat message to the community.
Yes the target is 2015 but it is an opportunity to work towards the May 2013 Council Elections and of course the 2014 European Elections
A positive result in 2013 & 2014 will without doubt assist us to a positive platform for 2015.
Paddy and his team have identified the 9th of Feb as a day of action, let's hope that the East Midlands gets behind the event 100%.
I would like to hear ideas for the day from members across our region and to have the opportunity to share the information with all of our activists, members and councillors throughout the East Midlands.
