High Peak Liberal Democrats
Across the East Midlands thousands of voters will go to the polls in 2013 to elect County Councillors. Lib Dems will be defending many seats and importantly will be targeting some key seats where we sit second by just a handful of votes.
Leicestershire is a good example of seats where help is needed now to get out leaflets so as to step up the pressure on the controlling Conservative vote but it is Market Harborough that will arguably be watched most closely.
The two Market Harborough Divisions sum up the battle perfectly
We hold Market Harborough East with a majority of just over 20 votes over the Conservatives but in Harborough West the places are reversed. The Conservatives hold the seat over us but their majority - JUST EIGHT VOTES!
Help is needed now to step up the deliveries and to hit the doorsteps with surveys and canvassing.
If you can help, even just for a few hours, please email Regional Policy Officer Phil Knowles. Your help now could make all the difference later in the year! If you can't get to Market Harborough can you help near to where you live?
