High Peak Liberal Democrats
Yesterday, Sunday 24th of February, seven of us, Scott, Jenny, Michael, John, Alisdair, with Issan as driver and myself, travelled to play our part in the Eastliegh By-Election.
The trip was most enjoyable.
We spent four hours delivering 1,500 magazines, we met campaigners from Aberdeen to Newquay.
We left Eastliegh feeling a great deal of satisfaction that we had done our bit.
The atmosphere was terrific, with a few hundred workers buzzing with enthusiasm.
We know that other activists from the East Midlands have already travelled to Eastliegh and proudly done their bit, others intend to do so.
During our visit, the Party's Camaign Manager Hilary Stephenson met us in the car park, thanking us but with a big request,
PLEASE ASK EVERYONE THAT IS ABLE TO PLAY THEIR PART IN THIS CRUCIAL BY-ELECTION,
to be kind enough to do so.
