High Peak Liberal DemocratsOn Thursday 21 February, Cheadle MP Mark Hunter visited Sunrise Senior Living on Dairyground Road, Bramhall, to cut the ribbon of the newly refurbished Couples Show Suite.
The formal inauguration of the suite is expected to improve the quality of the residents' stay in the impressive retirement accommodation. After opening the suite, Mark had a tour of the rest of the home and spoke with residents and staff, who were able to ask the MP any questions they wanted.
Commenting, Mark said:
"It's always a pleasure to visit local retirement homes and a great pleasure to be back at Sunrise - I very much enjoyed meeting the residents, and I was delighted to officially open the newly renovated Companionship Suite.
"It was also useful to take the opportunity of catching up with the staff at Sunrise, who work tirelessly to make it such a pleasant environment for the residents.
"I am really pleased to have been invited to share in such a special occasion and I congratulate all at Sunrise for making this possible."
