East Midlands Ambulance Service to make decision on new programme

East Midlands Ambulance Service is expected to make a final decision on its 'Being the Best' programme at a meeting tomorrow.
According to latest figures, the trust, led by chief executive Phil Milligan, is currently the worst performing
in the country.
The EMAS board meeting will be held in the Conference Centre at Kings Mill Hospital, Mansfield Road, Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. It starts at 10am.
It comes after Lincolnshire County Council has voiced great concerns over the competence of the emergency service.
Comments
So many of us have campaigned to save stations across the East Midlands. We are hopeful of good news for Market Harborough today
I was in a fairly serious car accident on the 11th March in a Rutland blizzard and received injuries including a broken ankle. It did take the ambulance a little while to get there but meanwhile Dr Gray from East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme was there pretty sharpish.
What a fantastic volunteer service!
