Lib Dems oppose Labour, Green & SNP plans for barmy airport employment laws

True to form, Labour, the Greens and the SNP MEPs last week supported barmy employment policies that, if they become legislation, would prevent airport baggage handling companies from making efficiency savings, and delivering better services and value for money for consumers.
Phil Bennion and Lib Dem MEPs succeeded in cutting red tape for national air authorities and opposed the burdensome employment proposals which will hopefully be eliminated later in the legislative process.
