The Green Investment Bank, a Liberal Democrat idea carried out by Liberal Democrat Climate Secretary Ed Davey, has issued its first guarantee, enabling the conversion of Drax coal-fired power station to biomass, cutting carbon, helping local farmers who will supply the biomass for Drax, creating jobs and shifting us to a cleaner, stronger economy.
