High Peak Liberal Democrats
Dear Colleagues,
This morning Bob and I attended the election count at Kelham Hall, I received 131 votes, thank you to everyone who did vote, a special thank you also goes out to my fantastic agent Lyn Harris, for her help and support with this election, thank you Lyn.
I have made the following decision, with regard to the Liberal Democrats, until I retire from Newark and Sherwood Homes board and I have got a while to go before that happens hopefully, I am not going to be standing as a candidate for the Liberal Democrats. This is because I want to really focus on my Newark and Sherwood Homes role. I haven't got the time or the energy to carry out two big roles at the same time. I consider my NSH role to be my top priority going forward, it always has been in fact, I have always had to make it my top priority.
I am totally committed to supporting you, when and where possible and also attending meetings of the Newark Local Liberal Democrats, and being the vice-chairman of the group.
It has been a really big challenge for me during this election, I've enjoyed it very much.
If you or anyone you know needs help and support with telephone canvassing or anything else in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me.
