High Peak Liberal DemocratsLast Friday 10th May local MP Mark Hunter officially re-opened the newly refurbished Bramhall Post Office on Maple Road in the village centre.
Alongside store owner Shamil Hudda, and Alan Currie (Area Manager for Post Office Limited Network Transformation in the North West), Mr Hunter cut the ribbon to mark the beginning of a new era for the busy Post Office.
Shamil Hudda who owns Bramhall Post Office said:
"I'd like to thank Mr Hunter for attending the opening, all those who helped with the refurbishment, and also my customers for their patience during the changes and their continued support."
"I was delighted to have the opportunity to modernise my Post Office. It has been totally transformed and all the hard work has been worth it.
"Everyone likes the improvements and the fact we are also opening later each day and Saturday afternoons which will be a great help to busy customers.
Commenting, Mark said:
"I was delighted to be asked to re-open Bramhall Post Office after its refurbishment, and I wish the local team all the best in their modernised branch.
"It was great to see all the work that had been done inside the shop to create a better retail experience - I'm sure local residents will approve!
