High Peak Liberal Democrats
Policy Officer Phil Knowles is urging members to start preparing for the Policy Debates at the November Conference and particularly the subject of possible policy motions for consideration by conference.
''Very soon we will be publishing the timetable for conference including the opening date for submitting motions. The debates are always very popular with members, indeed they are in many ways the lifeblood of the conference. If you have ideas for a possible policy motion please take the opportunity to discuss it with your branch, constituency or councillor group so that you are ready to submit your proposal when the start date is announced'
Indications are that the opening date for submission of possible motions will be sometime in early August, more details will be announced soon.
