Derbyshire entrepreneurs enjoyed an evening with business minister Vince Cable at Chesterfield FC's Proact Stadium.
Mr Cable was the keynote speaker at the Derbyshire chamber of commerce-backed event.
The veteran politician spoke about the challenges faced by businesses and explained how the Government is helping companies by doubling apprenticeship places and simplifying the tax system. He went on to praise the British spirit for creating an "entrepreneurial" culture.
