High Peak Liberal DemocratsMark Hunter MP was invited to Moss Hey Primary School to say thank you to headmistress, Mrs Marise Hutchinson, for her services to the school in a special assembly along with the School Governors held last week.
Mrs Hutchinson started with the Local Authority on 1st September 1990 working at Rose Hill Primary School and Whitehill Primary before joining Moss Hey Primary School on 1st September 1995.
Mrs Hutchinson has overseen several initiatives resulting in the school achieving the Quality Mark, Healthy Eating awards, an Inclusion Mark and much more.
Mark Hunter MP commented:
"Mrs Hutchinson has achieved a great deal at her time at Moss Hey School and has overseen so many excellent projects in making this a great and safe school in Bramhall.
"As Ofsted said 'the forward-looking headteacher … leads by example and engenders good teamwork among staff' , and the achievements of the school are a testament to the hard work and dedication of Mrs Hutchinson.
"Mrs Hutchinson is leaving the school in a very strong position and I am she sure will be missed by parents, fellow teachers and school children alike" added Mark.
