High Peak Liberal DemocratsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic and enthusiastic person to take on the role of Campaigns Organiser for Chesterfield Liberal Democrats. Chesterfield is a strategic seat for 2015, elected a Liberal Democrat MP from 2001-2010 and ran the Borough Council with a large majority from 2003-2011.
After a period of training and development you will become the lynch pin of the Campaign Team. You will oversee the day to day workings of the campaigns office. You will organise volunteers and campaigners across the constituency to help develop infrastructure and support capacity building activities. This will include increasing and developing our membership and activist base, building delivery networks and developing the use of Connect.
Good organisational and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience of campaign organisation and using Connect would be an advantage.
Some evening and weekend work will be required.
