East Midlands Chairman Tony Rogers has expressed thanks and delight at the news of a £1000 donation by Harborough Constituency to the 2014 European Election Regional Fighting Fund.
'' It's a very generous and much welcomed boost to the fund. 2014 is a vitally important election and will have a major impact on the very fabric of the party in the East Midlands for years to come.
We have a challenging campaign ahead and with the 2015 Westminster Elections following so soon after the Europeans the importance of a good result in 2014 cannot be understated. Harborough was the first in the region to launch a European Road Show event and they have followed this with a super donation. The members in Harborough are tremendously supportive of the party and hard working. They have clearly identified the need to get behind this campaign''
