“FREE UKTI HELP FOR STOCKPORT BUSINESSES IS GREAT NEWS!” – Says Stunell
Andrew Stunell MP is urging all Stockport businesses to take up UKTI's offer of free advice on how to grow internationally through the 'Exporting is Great' campaign which was launched this week.
Commenting, Andrew said -
"This offer of advice is a free boost to your bottom line. There are already local companies exporting to the world and making money out of it. Now there's plenty of high quality help for beginners available and I'd recommend this to any business, however small."
"The message is getting over - more than 40 companies came to learn how exporting could be profitable at the UKTI seminar I held in July. But the market is big enough for a lot more to join them."
Lisa Smart, Liberal Democrat Candidate for Hazel Grove constituency, said -
"Venturing into the unknown is a daunting prospect for all businesses, that's why it's great news that the UKTI are offering free help to all Stockport businesses interested in exporting. This is an exciting opportunity for our businesses in Stockport and I hope they all take full advantage".
The campaign will be divided into three waves running in November 2013 (wave 1), January and March 2014 (waves 2 and 3) and features an innovative creative approach with imagery and relevant case studies from SME exporters.

The launch of the 'Exporting is Great' campaign falls on Export Week (11-15th November 2013), where various seminars, workshops and market briefings will be given all over the UK to provide practical advice on doing business overseas.
