European Spokesperson Phil Knowles was in Erewash as guest speaker at their AGM.
Phil addressed the meeting, before taking a Q&A session, calling on members to take a positive message on to the streets and to maximise the use of Focus and street letters to push the message home - In Europe? In Work?
''Our members have already identified that thousands of local jobs are potentially at risk in the Erewash Constituency, jobs that directly or indirectly depend on the European Union. Members are looking forward to taking the campaign to keep us in the Europe Union to homes and businesses over the coming months. The local team will be on the streets meeting residents to explain the importance of staying at the heart of the European Union and I am delighted to confirm that the European Team will be with them''
