Euro candidate Issan Ghazni joins Action Day in Derby

East Midlands Liberal Democrat Euro candidate Issan Ghazni joined forces with party members in Derby North recently.

He hit the doorsteps with Lucy Care, our general election candidate, for a day of leafleting and bundling.

Issan Ghazni relished getting out on the streets and said this was the key to ensuring Bill Newton Dunn was re-elected as MEP.

He said: "I really enjoyed meeting local members in Derby North. They are the life-blood of our party. Grassroots activists have worn out plenty of shoe leather for our party - as I have! I do not take for granted the individual effort we make when campaigning for victory in the Euro elections."
