High Peak Liberal DemocratsAndrew Stunell MP is urging Stockport businesses to enter the Worldpay UK Business Awards, run by the Federation of Small Businesses.
Commenting, Andrew said -
"Stockport has a wide range of excellent businesses, and it is time they started shouting about it. The FSB awards are a great chance for local firms to raise their profile and build their reputations and their customer base."
Lisa Smart, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Hazel Grove, commented -
"The search is on for Britain's best small businesses and I want to make sure Stockport's SME's get the recognition they deserve by entering these awards. Our local businesses compete with the very best and the entrepreneurship and innovation they demonstrate really shouldn't go unrewarded."
The Worldpay UK Business Awards are for exception businesses in four categories - Business Innovation, Young Entrepreneur, Micro Business and Online Business.
Businesses have until the end of January 2014 to submit their application online at www.fsbworldpayawards.co.uk
