High Peak Liberal DemocratsGhazni made the call after spending another day in Stapleford North, on the outskirts of Nottingham, where a double byelection is due to take place this Thursday, 23rd January.
He said: "We have a great chance of not just holding one seat but gaining another. We need each and every party member in the region to head down to Stapleford this week and particularly on election day."
Ghazni made his second visit on Saturday, when he delivered leaflets and spoke to local residents. "We have two excellent candidates in Goff Walt and Matt Holden, and a great team working there." Ghazni was joined by fellow Euro candidate Deborah Newton-Cook, and is pictured with Holden.
He added: "People from across the East Midlands have been helping already but we need more to secure a double-victory in the ward."
