The Government has said it will provide 20 per cent support on childcare costs up to £10,000 per year for each child. For example, it means a family with two children under 12-years old could benefit by up to £4,000 as a result.
The Government has also said people on Universal Credit will get 85 per cent of childcare costs fully covered.

"This is great news for all of our hardworking families in Stockport. This extra help will go towards enabling parents to have more choice about what's right for their family, giving children the best start in life".
