On the EU membership issue, Myers said that just like for many other companies, the "the success of our business is linked to Europe."
Adding that the EU "wasn't perfect" and "not beyond reform", he stated:
"Quite simply, leaving the EU presents risk to our business."
Bill Newton Dunn, Liberal Democrat MEP for the East Midlands commented:
"The message from business after business is loud and clear: Britain's future should be in Europe. Kellogg's joined the long list of major employers across the United Kingdom like GE, Siemens, Shell, Unilever, Nissan, Diageo, Branson, BAE, Honda, the CBI, the EEF and more who have already warned about the disastrous consequences of a possible UK exit from the EU."
"Remaining in the EU means protecting millions of British jobs, and having our say. The investment and jobs coming from our EU membership are one of the main reasons that we must stay IN the EU."
