It's really easy to lose your vote, because you can only vote between 7am and 10pm on Thursday 22nd May. Many people apply for a postal vote so that they don't miss out because of delays on the way home from work, holidays or illness.
Applying for a postal vote will take you less than 2 minutes - and means you can vote at any time up to 10pm on election day.
If you'd like to sign up for a postal vote then simply download this form, choose 'Standard application, print & sign it and you can quickly get a postal vote.
Then, a couple of weeks before the election, you will get your postal vote. You can post it at any point until a couple of days before the election, or take it to the polling station if you accidentally leave it too late.
