Industry Bosses must deliver the message direct to their own workforce!

EU CompaniesAlmost on a daily basis CEO's, Directors and bosses of Industry are adding their names to the growing list of those telling us that the UK must stay IN Europe. They voice concerns that sleepwalking out of Europe will cost Jobs and even see some companies closing.

They are telling us, they are telling the media, but are they telling their own workforce? That's the question being posed by East Midlands European Spokesperson Phil Knowles and he adds 'if they are not telling their workforce directly then WHY NOT?'

'' The bosses of Industry who have voiced their concerns and who have gone on record warning of the dangers of leaving the EU need in my opinion to take their message personally and directly to their own workforce.

"They need to write/email, contact every single member of staff explaining clearly and concisely the impact that pulling out of the EU will have on their company ''order book'' and on the future employment stability of each and every person employed directly and indirectly by their company.

"Yes the democratic decision of how to vote quite rightly rests between the individual voter and the ballot box but when they cast that vote they should do so knowing what the consequence of the decision will be for them, their job and the future stability of their family.

"I urge each and every one of those industry bosses who have committed their concerns to print, to radio and television to grasp the nettle and ensure their message is delivered directly to their workforce. They have to take the responsibility of ensuring that there is no room for misunderstanding. If they don't deliver the message of the importance of staying in the European Union can they really be sure that someone else will? Can they afford to take the risk? The UK must stay IN ''
