High Peak Liberal DemocratsColtishall House residents, a retirement home in Cheadle, welcomed local MP Mark Hunter and Councillors June Somekh and Paul Porgess at one of their regular coffee mornings recently.
Mark, June and Paul were all questioned on the upcoming Local and European elections on 22nd May, and about issues in Cheadle ward in particular.
Commenting afterwards, Mark said:
'It is always a pleasure to come and meet with local residents and talk with them about politics as well as many other topics, and I am most grateful for the invitation. I think we were afforded a particularly warm welcome as Councillor Somekh had brought a homemade cake along to have with the coffee!'
