European Elections candidate, Issan Ghazni recently visited the Khatri Community Centre to give a talk on the upcoming European Elections. There was a positive debate about the British jobs which the EU supports and the risk to the economy of the UKIP and Tory exit from the EU.

Issan said "The Khatri Community Centre is in the heart of the Asian communities of Leicester Highfields. I met with a group of elderly Asian women at a luncheon club there who understood the importance of work to their families and the trade which the UK does with EU countries. The ladies there expressed support for the Lib Dem message of IN Europe, IN work."

Issan added "Myself and the rest of the European team have been campaigning across the region to re-elect MEP Bill Newton Dunn. There is still time left to knock on more doors and deliver more leaflets to spread the message and help get Bill back to Brussels after May 22nd."
