Bill Newton Dunn MEP and European Spokesperson Cllr Phil Knowles were in Oadby to meet and greet voters as part of a walk about and to thank the local Lib Dem Team who are working so hard in support of the European Candidates.

'' We have a great team across the East Midlands, they enable us to take the message and campaign onto the streets indeed to every home. It was a good opportunity to meet with the Oadby Team recently and to thank them for their wonderful support. We know that they will be working flat out right up to the close of the poll next Thursday. They know the importance of taking every opportunity to get our message out to the voters and to underline that the Lib Dems are fighting to protect over 3 million jobs. 3 million jobs that will be under threat if we sleep walk out of the European Union.''
