European Elections Candidate, Issan Ghazni recently gave a talk to Aj Kal Asian Women's Group in Nottingham. He spoke about the Liberal Democrats being the only pro-European party and their internationalist credentials. He also answered questions on the EU, Lib Dem Policy and job creating.
Issan said "We have to take a stand against UKIP and Nigel Farage's anti-immigration messages designed to intimidate and to promote fear and separation. The women I spoke with were glad to hear the positive Lib Dem message. It's a message all communities in our region can get behind."
