Liberal Democrats hold three seats on Derby City Council

Lucy CareSpeaking to the Derby Telegraph Liberal Democrat leader Hilary Jones was pleased to see experienced politician Lucy Care return to the fray after taking the Littleover seat previously held by her party's former Mayor of Derby Les Allen who had decided to stand down.

Hilary said it had been "a mixed night - It's not necessarily about local policies. I think there's some national stuff that will have had an effect and having the European elections on the same day has focused and polarised people a bit."
