Carry on Lib Dems
I am very sorry indeed that we have lost the East Midlands seat, and the services of Bill as our member.
I can't see that he could have done more, and I go cold at the thought of being represented by UKIP, both personally and for my country.
It is a bleak moment, and I hope that the party will remain dignified, pull together, hold on to Lib Dem values, keep working, and wait for more favourable times.
I am now in my eighties, and I am sure that the pendulum will swing back.
We just have to stay calm and carry on!
