FGM Poster Campaign launched

Over 20,000 British girls at high risk each year of
Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).
Norman Baker MP has launched a Home Office campaign with the NSPCC directing mothers to a free NSPCC hotline if they suspect their daughter or a girl they know is at risk.
The campaign will place posters in key cities across England and Wales where a high prevalence of FGM is suspected. The campaign will also reach out to mothers through through Facebook and Netmums advertisements which will direct them to the NSPCC site for advice and support.
