High Peak Liberal DemocratsChief Secretary to the Treasury, Danny Alexander MP, has apologised to social housing tenants who have been put through unnecessary anxiety and stress, and in some cases evicted from their homes, as a result of the controversial 'bedroom tax'. However, he defended the party's stance on supporting the introduction of the widely hated policy.
