We welcome Stephen Williams MP to an evening meal and discussion at Park Bikeworks in Derby City Centre.
In October 2013, Stephen Williams was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary at Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG). As Minister for Communities, his responsibilities include community cohesion, race relations, localism and community rights, housing standards, Building regulations and neighbourhood planning. As the Liberal Democrat minister in DCLG he has oversight of all areas of department policy such as housing, local economic development and planning.
Stephen Williams MP will do a question and answer session on the evening (Limited time available). Also present at the event will be Derby North's parliamentary candidate Cllr Lucy Care.

The Park Bikeworks is an exciting new venue. It recently opened to encourage everyone to travel by bicycle, by providing a centre with safe storage for bikes, shower and changing facilities and good food all day in a contemporary and relaxed atmosphere in the Deli Cafe. None cyclists are also welcome to enjoy the delicious freshly prepared food in pleasant surroundings.
Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages can be purchased throughout the evening.
Parking for bikes is obviously free! There is some free parking next to the building and on the Street. Charged parking is available at the Assembly Rooms car park. For those who wish to use public transport, the bus station is just a 5 minute walk away.
