High Peak Liberal Democrats
It is dark and I am back 70 years (not quite 10) standing at the "Rising Sun" in Hazel Grove on VE night. The illuminated tram arrives from Stockport. Where did they get all those coloured bulbs? All last week I had been receiving emails asking me to support Lisa Smart in Hazel Grove. But I wanted to make sure no one in East Midlands could complain that their webmaster had deserted them so it was past 7.30pm on Election Day when I tried to log on and do some telephone canvassing - but I never received a password!!
Now if Stockport Trams could find thousands of coloured bulbs and get them on the tram and down the line after five years at war in less than 24 hours why can't modern technology get me a password and in particular the wonderful "Connect" log me in to help Lisa?
