I really feel that this is the most important election that we in the East Midlands will see for sometime.This is a crucial decision which will influence the direction our party takes in the future. Like others across the East Midlands I have received my invitation to the Hustings and I certainly intend to attend. Alison Rouse, Jonathan Sneade & Phil Knowles have worked so very hard to ensure we will have an East Midlands event and it promises to be a great evening.

We are so lucky to have two such excellent candidates in Tim & Norman - As President of the East Midlands Liberal Democrats I would like to take this opportunity to urge every single member to come along to our Hustings Event on Monday 6^th July in Nottingham.

This is an opportunity to take part in what will be a historical decision - and we owe it to future members and ourselves to participate in the democratic process

I look forward to hearing what Tim Farron & Norman Lamb have to say and to hearing their responses as East Midland Members question them on their policies. "

EVENT DETAILS:



WHEN: Monday 6th July from 6:30 - 8:30pm



VENUE: Djanogly Learning Trust, Sherwood Rise Campus, Sherwood Rise, Nottingham NG7 7AR. This is a ground floor venue with disabled access. Tea & Coffee provided.



TRANSPORT INFO:



PUBLIC TRANSPORT: The venue is on several bus routes from Nottingham City Centre (68, 69, 70, 71) with car parking on-site and access from Mansfield Road.



CAR SHARING: The Liberal Democrats are Friendly and Green. We have nearly 800 new members, some of whom may not have transport. If you are able to either offer a lift to the event from your area, or might need one yourself please complete the details on the registration form here.
