If carers are to have healthy and fulfilling lives in older age, more must be done to ensure that there is adequate support in place from health and care services both for older carers and for the people they care for.
This new report by Carers UK and Age UK brings together and analyses evidence from national data sources and older carers themselves to set out some of the key facts about this growing and diverse group, looking at what steps must be taken to better support older carers.
