Barbara Pearce & Tony Rogers Receive Merit Award

East Midlands Liberal Democrats took time out at the recent Leadership Hustings to present Barbara Pearce and Tony Rogers with a Special Merit award in recognition of services over many years to the East Midlands Liberal Democrats.

Leadership hopefuls, Tim Farron & Norman Lamb made the awards to the two very surprised recipients.

Barbara and Tony have helped so many people and the Regional Executive, on behalf of the East Midlands Members wanted to place on the record our thanks and to make Barbara and Tony the first recipients of the East Midlands Merit Award''
